Had a brilliant day today, was going to turn boost down but in the end left it at 21 psi & the car didn't miss a beat all day.

Followed that 911 for 3 laps as he wouldn't pull over to the right still good fun though,finally managed to get past him on the cooper straight


Only 1 car spun off today, it was a young bloke in a MR2 turbo, even the inside was full of stones

Get your car out on the track if you haven't done it yet & youv'e been thinking about doing it like me

Tyres The tyres were deffo slowing me down through the corners especially after a few laps started sliding about , couldn't believe it when twice today in different sessions i had this guy in a Saab 95 all over me round the bends, every straight i was pulling well away from him with no probs but i pulled over to the right & let him through . Went & had a chat with him after & saw that he had slicks on, he said they secondhand ones off of a touring car, it was a Saab aero turbo 250bhp is what he said, it was no match for the cossie on the straights but i was too slow rounds the corners. My tyres do look a bit worse for wear but still leagal just got bits hanging off them

might buy some cack 16's then and get some good track tyres for me 1st adventure!

I never lost the brakes at all but again could have gone faster with better brakes, quite suprised that they didn't fade badly as their only standard size but drilled & grooved. Had a look earlier at the car & the discs on the front do look a bit blue in places , the tyres still have a load of rubber from the track stuck to them I never did more than 10 laps at once & always cruised round on the last lap to cool things down then left the car in the pits for at least 15 mins before going out again.

Mods required before i do another one are Big wing sump,slicks or road/track tyres & poss bigger brakes.
