My very first Ford...

First off I'll say hello because this is my first post here. I found out about this site because a Sierra in Teso car park had the URL on decalls in its window!!

Anyway, I'm 24, female and on the Isle of Wight and this is my very first Ford. I've wanted an Escort my whole life and got this XR3i just one month ago for £500. I haven't done anything to it, it's as I got it but I just love it so much that I wanted to show it to other people who like Fords. (I hope nobody minds).

Thanks for the welcome.

The Escort does need a bit of a wash now, I really must get off my bum and do it really.

It's in good condition although it could do with a new screenwash bottle but I'm told these are out of production for this car?

An the car's name is "Swampy" because the reg letters are "S*** WPY"

My first Ford was a Mk4 XR3i EFI, used to love it, spent so much/too much money on it and then wrote it off!

ive only ad fords. 1st car was a 1.3 Mk4 escort

then got a Mk4 xr3i, i thought it was ok till my boyfriend put a turbo kit on it and a turbo engine in it

was well buzzin then.
Now ive got a Mk2 xr2 turbo (jst borrowing it till my pink escort rs turbo is ready)

I love Fords!!
