Last weekend attended the British Motor Museum who were hosting the Ford Nationals event, was a scorching day in low 30s but turn out was very impressive around 750 cars and also hosted the Lotus cortinas 60th anniversary, heres a few pics I took

what I like was the mix of old and new, events like ford fair these days are nearly all modern content as classic owners stay away

 

I remember the 1.4S Fiesta with a twin choke weber that was as quick as the XR2 (MKII) in it's day. I only ever had 1 Ford, an Orion 1.4L, it was reliable but it always gave me a headache as if somehow fumes were getting into the car. It was only two years old o an E Plate (1988).
