My Rally Car in the States! (Last Winter)
Just a quick picture and a test.
93' Escort Cosworth Group N (Now Open class in USA) Gordon Spooner built, 400hp or so running T34, Greys, 26psi, and full WRC Anti-lag!(new)

he needs to get some sponsors on that thing sounds fast and looks the bollocks, i nearly moved to texas with my esc cos but the bitch, well was a bitch and the hassle to havr registered it was a mare.

I 'm going to get it repainted to a solid color - either dark blue or white very soon. I'm kinda sick of the orange. 
My car is titled as a kit car in Ohio! Insurance company lists it as a normal Ford Escort - little do they know

I got the car from a guy in New York that brought it over as race only - I then got it legal in Ohio, but it was a real pain to do it. The car was rallyed by a Stuart Irvine as the log book says (anybody know this man? I think he runs a Subaru now.)

Thanks for the info - I am trying to get an email address for him - I wanted to see if he had any info/pictures of my car (just thought it would be cool to get the history and specs when he ran it).

Stuart did the Granite City Rally over here in April
You could try mailing the events entry's secretary with the reasons you need his address - or ask them to contact him for you and pass on your details (this may be a better option)

Really nice Ecort Cossie! I'm the unofficial keeper of the "Cossies in North America" roster. I'd love to include the basic specs about your car; an update of my list is long overdue. (It goes out by mail, only to the folks on the list).
The list includes most of the 15 or so Escort Cosworths brought into the US by Sun International (like my own), and I hope to add a couple of built-up racing models, and some rarities like a couple of Cosworth Sierras and a Merkur with Escort Cosworth bits.
i own a 1995 Escort Cosworth with 2.4 liter engine and tuning by Eggenberger Motor Sport in Switzerland. It is a street, not race-prepped, car, and is street-registered as a "Rally Sport" (and insured as a Ford Escort, like yours!). The dyno showed 378 hp and 435 ft/lb. of torque when Eggenberger built it up.
