Default Black bonnet vents on white cars.

As title, I've just bid and won on a pair of S2 vents as I'm considering on spraying them either matt or satin black.

They are white vents at the moment, so which either new or current vents has the best paint will stay white, But the worse looking ones will get the paint.

Anyone got any pics of black vents on a white car, Not to fussed on model. I'm just looking to see a 'bigger picture' in my head.

Well I bit the bullet, I got a pair of vents through ebay yesterday and just popped into the Range for some Matt Black paint.

I'll be sanding the vents down, and giving them a prime and some paint in the coming days.
I'm hoping it'll pull of nicely, and it'll only cost less than £20 all in.

not all cars can carry off different colour vents, Rods car is very different so at times it works but on others occasions when I have seen it in the flesh I often think colour matched would suit it be better, its personal choice

Thats why the black vents may not survive the re-build.

I do like the look of black vents, more so since the Focus RS lads started to do it.

I'll still have white vents, so a simple swap over when I feel like changing them over.

I fancied carbon ones on my 3 door cossie. Not managed to find a decent set so may get some wrapped or I wonder if that hydro dipping would look ok?
