Hi, Thanks for the comments on my Grey FRST.

Yes its taken 2.5 years from start to finish to get it that standard. I did start a thread on here a while back but forgot to update it!!

I only got the car MOTd the day before to take to the show, and even had to drive it there on unused (new?) 23 yr old Pirelli P600 tyres!!! and then an hour setting it up for people to see.

To be honest concourse wasn't my thing to start with when i bought the car, ( 17 YEARS AGO!! ), but having driven it to many shows and put it on the Essex club stands i decided to take it to another level from a club stand car to a full concourse restoration.

It did take me alot of effort to get it where it is, sourcing many original new parts from as far afield as Spain.

The main reason for me going in this direction is for others to enjoy a bit of retroness and what the car would have been like in 1992 when new, ( not many standard ol crates left now lol).

(Incidentally my car came second in concourse. The White Capri (above) won the class...Its superb in every way and has never been touched since it left the factory....It now has a grand total of 504 miles from brand new!!!)

The owner of the red Granny is a friend, and was up for sale not so long ago. Hes in the Essex RSOC and the car is local.

Was up for sale for 14k.
