I'm not really sure tbh mate lol,.I love the look of splits, especially the type that are on the moonstone one on this thread, then again if I could get hold of some th2s in the right offset for a 3dr I think that would look good. I'm not desperate to change the wheels cos I do like them but it's just a good way of making it look less like Davies and more like mine lol
Yeah agree with that Karl, the bit about making cars your own, hence why I thought about changing them on the saff, BUT after photoshops I'm defo going to stick with what I have on mine

This is one of the reasons im pleased my 3dr is unknown, i can easily make it mine.

Your Taxi will always be Tarrens Pete im afraid to say. Might sound harsh but unless you make major changes thats what it will be.

Yeah that was one of the good things about my sapph, I built it to how i wanted it over the years and it was known as my car, I'm not too bothered about it being recognised as Davies, just means someone else has spent loads of cash getting it how it is instead of me for a change lol
That doesn't bother me one bit mate tbh, it's mine now not Tarren's, you could say that about any multiple owned car then really. Lol.
This car hasn't changed Spec in yrs Steve, i have pics of the car before Tarren owned it, same rims, spec, coilovers etc etc then, Tarren just carried on keeping it minty mint with some nice subtle changes.
Imo it needs nothing now, I'm not spending for the sake of it just to say, " it's my car now"

Don't blame you Pete, Super T's look great on Sapphs!
these are the kind of rl7s that are brittle.ive had a set on my old 3 door..some time after i sold them (they were new when i got them)...they started cracking
RL7s do look a lovely rim for sure, aren't they brittle though? Or am i thinking of another rim?

They were magnesium/alloy mix, the 18" suffer really bad as i've had a set and wouldn't even put them on the car - the 17" were better due to less mag - Ears motorsport made ones are more desirable as they are made from alloy but cost more and are rare.
It's funny as once upon a time they were said to be common on 3dr/500's but it's rare to see a car with them on now - i'm sure NY Paul is hoarding dozens of sets

I have a new set of TH2's that I bought for mine but never used. I quite like my 18" TH wheels but thing it's time for a change so it may wear new shoes for this year..

I remember when yours had Gold Harris, looked stunning then
Yeah they did look nice mate, and i was dumb enough to swap them for some white alloys,i put them on the car and took them straight off and ordered the black ones

I saw your car last year at classic ford and it does look very good on those, does that mean you're selling the th2's?
