Awesome kit! Bright as hell! I'd like to get the splitter cable and the Hope rear light too as there are a few road sections I travel on now. That would just ease my mind once it gets dark if I end up on the road.

That is the Hope 4 too. So good that before I fit it to the bike I took it with me to view a car we was buying at night.

I use the R4 and vision2 for night rides. Works well.

For the rear it has to be the Moon 60lumem light. Ł40 from wiggle

Well been shopping round for a bargain bike or replacement frame.
Today I finally come across a new old stock cape wrath Claud butler frame. Price Ł60 quid.

A couple if hours stripping the coyote and cleaning parts up this is how it stands...

Need a different sized seat post plus clamp, also need a couple more spacers on the headset, and this frame's thinner so hoping a spacer is available for the front mech.
Once this is all done I'll look for another set of front forks with lockout again.
Happy bunny again, might splash out on some new bolts here and there too.

That looks good does that rear light! Should stand out a mile with that one!

I'm after a Hope light so I can run it off the same battery pack. Just saves having 2 packs and having to charge them both or hoping both are charged up.

House purchase first though!

Not been off the net, constantly searching lol. Could get expensive if this weather keeps up, its so easy to go overboard.
Its used daily in all weathers so the misses can't say owt imo. Keeps me fitter.
I need to get back into the off roading though. Used to be a good laugh.

Looks good, for budget parts look at superstarcomponents for the seat post, clamp etc.

A mate has the Hope District rear and a R4, only runs 1 x 2 cell battery. Last around 2 hours.

Could anyone recommend a front light?
I dont wanna break the bank but could really do with something for seeing with, rather than just been seen
I fancy doing 1 or 2 of these endurance/overnight events and at the minute only have one of them Ł25 front and rear sets!
Oh and I'd prefer not to have to carry a battery pack!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers fellas....

I have exposure race max lights and they're brilliant, love the mounts, can piggy back batteries etc and the performance of the light is brilliant. A proper top bit of kit!

Just got back from a race with MO ....

Obviously, he lost.

But on another note, i have had many MANY bikes, probably over 200, as i used to have a habit of breaking them doing jumps lol.... and the best ones iv ever had were ...*A Baby blue Specialized Fatboy bmx.... and a *Gt Avalanche 2.0..... loved the bmx, .........got nicked off me after buying a chrome rear wheel and some other trick parts

GT got given to me for free from a neighbor who was moving out in a weird hurry.... and obviously didnt know it was still a Ł300+ bike

All built back up to a working state now.

Fitted some grips to bull bars too.

Reason the forks have gotta go.
Rusted from inside out and are now cracking.
Hopefully I'll have more luck with this frame.

Just purchased some new forks off ChainReaction.

Went for a ride to Delamere forest before. However had to ride there which was 26miles.

Was like a bog fest. done 10 miles with the shop ride then rode the coast home.

78 miles ands i'm goosed.

Alls for entering a challange on Strava to hit 500k in a week. 168k down.

Big ride to wales tomorrow so bulked up on carbs. Plus this is all done on the On One 456.

Anyone else riding this weekend?

At Llandegla on the 31st if anyone wants to join? Be about 15 of us in 2 groups.

Better being in the shed! Your family is much more important!

Howver if you plan a ride on day I will show you the trail, it's a XC as opposed to "Get bastard down!" also bloody boggy at this time of year!

I got myself an old Cannondale F500 in Team Vovlvo colours with XTR/XT upgrade last year. I had wanted one for over 12 years go grabbed it when i saw it for sale.

I built up a Merlin years ago with the best of everything, sadly got stolen when i left the RAF and my mate was supposed to be looking after it.
