As title just bought another gti and don't know whether to go down the oem + route or the hard as nails fast road / track look :-s

yeah righto , no its about time somebody did something different as the gti is a gutless 1.8 115ps, they need some real meat and grunt and definitely some good body mods, as how many escos reps have we seen, I reckon a proper trackslag is the way to go

If yours is a mint one keep it completely original as their really isn't many left like that now.
If its a little beaten underneath and rusty arches then go mad and make it a track looking machine but also bear in mind how long your thinking of keeping it. No point spending a lot of money on a car that has no future with you as you won't see that money again.

Thanks guys some nice looking cars on here I've taken you comments on board and yes it wants arches but its nice and it's a keeper lol just can't decide im thinking mint with rs7's eventually

Here's a couple of my old one. Was unusual in that it had no rust what so ever!!!
Had it for around 4 years as a daily driver. Was never the quickest car but i do miss it. Anyways hope you like.

Not going turbo route just the usual mods I'm afraid that's the reason I sold the st it was killing me to run it I just want a smart nippy car lol
