Our ring trip (pic heavy )new photos all through thread
Just got back from the ring,i will do a little write up and post pics of the 4 days ,i will add more pics over the next few days as i upload them .Been over there quite a few times but this year we wanted to trailer the cars as this takes the worry out of getting back if a car breaks, Anyway steve had his van and rons trailer so we could load this up with spares and we was going to drive the track car,our mate mark said he would like to come and bring his low loader for the car to go on ,amended the bokking on the euro tunnel from car to his low loader and the price stayed the same 
.plan was to get over on thursday as there was track time in the evening ,track time friday eve ,closed saturday(but actually opened 2pm till 7pm ) as an event on then open all day sunday .

Once offloaded and bags in the hotel, it was off for fuel for the cars
Was a little damp on the fri ,headed down to the car park to buy some laps and wait for the track to open
Then it was time to get out in the car
Got 4 laps in the first eve and was very pleased with how the car was going

On the gp circuit over the weekend was the german gt cars racing, and others aswell,had a little looky
russian morgan
On the friday there was testing and a private track day going on ,so we had a potter about waiting for the track to open to tourists.
Headed down to brunnchen to spectate for a while .
Popped to the bmw m test center for a look
Loads of cortinas were on their way back from cortina in italy on a tour ,more pics of them scattered in here and there
Also popped in to Manthey racing for a nose about
Couple in for repair
Just pulled in off road test

2 tanks diesel for low loader @Ł90 per tank
hotel 4 nights 140 euros b&b
Biggest cost is the laps really we did about 20 at 26euros each
meals @100 euros
fuel for track car
aa cover etc on loader
all depends on how mad you go ,as it can be done on a budget ,only a rough guide as we lumped some of the costs between us and split it

Ł200 fuel there and back (this was from Hertfordshire driving my 420bhp Focus at a sensible 75-80mph)
Ł30 per lap inc fuel
Ł40 per night B&B
Ł40 per day food/drink (more if you drink alot, I don't as I don't want a hang over out on track lol)
Ł100 return on tunnel
Ł30 Euro break down cover (if you don't have it)
Based on that a trip mon-fri (inc 15 laps) would cost you about Ł1100-1200, if you take a mate who wants to split costs (which is what I did 2 weeks ago) it'd cost you about Ł600 each which is easier on the wallet lol
I'm booked to go back Easter 2013 and again Easter 2014 for my 40th birthday...

Is that Steve without any stubble / beard? I don't think ive ever seen him clean shaven - dirty scrote lol.
