That transit sport shouldn't be used for towing a trailer that big.
I'm sure they only tow something daft like 750kg! I know my 280 transit did.

I only use the van round the doors , Landrover does long distance towing, but the transit doesn't struggling if honest

bang on mate. only the swb rac spec rwd ones (16" wheels) are rated to tow 3000kg.
the fwd ones can only tow a max weight of 780kg!
you see them all the time towing mini diggers etc and a bet the people dont know!

On the lookout for a Transit Recovery if anybody knows of any for sale, our one above went through MOT today, didn't even make it to a fail, test was aborted

hot air gun with a bit of patience

paint it
allow to dry
stick it back together
re-do one cos it got marked/scrathed being put back together..Doh!
