Spent hours on the car today and its come out stunning,

The paintwork is like glass its as smooth as silk

Wash and wax first,
Then claybar after dry,
Then high gloss protect by auto glym, followed by super high resin polish,
I've had a look around and hear purple haze is good but not on light cars, only dark cars so that will work on the fiesta, Anyway heres the end result i'm happy,

Gazz, you're order is wrong mate.

I know very little about detailing, but after you wash and dry the car, then you should clay bar. Then you're looking at polishing it, and finally waxing it.

If you polish it, you're removing material.

cheers mate it got polished last btw lol, going to order dodo juice diamond white hard wax for it and do it gain through week and seal it

That's what I mean. Polish after you clay bar, but before you put the wax on

Sealants are better for lighter coloured cars try poorboys ex-p will give it a proper shine, has come up well too

Very nice.I put a post up about my wifes focus a few weeks back.I clay bared that and the muck in the paint was unbelievable.
