My Sierra Cosworth....Smokestone Blue
Thought about time I shared....
So, story goes that 8 years ago I sold this same car, as we do to puchase a house . Looked like this:
Loved those softspokes
November last year, I found it for sale. Had undergone a transformation in that time, some good, some bad but for reasons which I cant explain, I could sleep and when I could, was dreaming of the car. :saythat: NERD.
Was a heart over gut thing but purchased it back, unable to drive it because it had no breaks. Certainly wasnt the same car as when it left me, but thats 8 years for you and a few different owners with the intentions of using the car as opposed to the nice cosey blanket and garage space that I gave it. :approve:
Looked like this:
Had plenty of problems so far, likely to find a few more, but here she now stands. Have a cosworth plate to go on and a setup with NMS planned in a few weeks.
Dodged the rain today and managed to take these:
Front brake upgrade: 330's
Rear upgrades 300's
Scorpian currently on it but Mongoose tomorrow
Needing a better background but one before the rain came:
These are the first I have taken since its current standing.

I remember when you had it the first time round Huw, lining them up at the FIRST EVER Central day at the pod.........Good old days mate.....
I had the chance to buy my 3DR back a few years ago but i just didnt think it would be the same.....Wanted to keep it how i remembered it....
Fair play to you though mate, it will be stunning again....

Cheers Kev - as I said via pm, I keep looking at yours as its my ideal cossie ...imo
So, got an exhaust change planned, scorpian to Mongoose,
Slight suspension change (coil overs on the rear are now leaking )
Give the underside a waxoil treatment,
Engine setup - .....
AND ENJOY!!
Wheels wise, I can love them one minute, want to change them the next. Bought a set of softspokes but they wouldnt go over brakes.
