DC's ST24.....more pics added
Hi all. Just paid up as a full member so thought I'd post a couple of pictures of my current run around
I bought the car at the end of last year. Needed a little tlc. So far I've given her a full service including oil and filter, air filter, fuel filter, plugs, leads, coolant and gearbox oil. Also replaced the water pump and thermostat and both drive belts, brake master cylinder, both front calipers and pads and o/s front wheel bearing. Still plenty of niggles I want to get sorted before I'll be completely happy with her
Let me know what you think
Dave

Thanks buddy. I've no idea to be honest with you. It was like that when I bought it. Still got plenty I need to do to bring her up to scratch such as wishbones, tca's, roll bar bushes and link rods etc. hadn't been very well looked after when I got her but I'm slowly working on turning that round. Nice to get a comment from a fellow mondy owner having not seen many on here yet

No where few and far between on here, the Mondeo is the bastard love child of the ford scene
But it looks well mate, when there lowered the same all round, with the front arch being HUGE, they always look higher front than rear, so I'd put my life on it being on PI 50 front 40 rear springs, which is what my green one is

ST24 looks good... lots of car for very little cash these days.
Fiddington Smythe, I thought your Green one was on Super Megalowz no namers?? I've just bought some Pi 50/40s for the ST200 on the understanding that it wouldn't roll around with them like the ones you told me were on the Green one!! Shitballs.
Cheers,
Grant

Seems like a lot of car for the money. I paid £700 for it. Admittedly I've spend the same again since but all the same. When it's done it should be good for years to come. Sounds gorgeous too. Costs me a fortune in petrol as the temptation to give it some beans and hear that v6 growl is too much to resist. Sure itd sound awesome with and exhaust and induction kit

Thanks buddy, only big issue bodywork wise is a patch of grot on the drivers side rear quarter just above the bumper. Think you can just make it out on the pics but once that's sorted should be solid

Looks nice.I dont knoe why people on here dont like mondeos. Ive been in fiddys black one and that went very well for a big car.It was more comfortable that an old sierra with a posh engine lol.

I love it. Never considered them before and only bought it because I needed something bigger and it was cheap and local and I'm over the moon with it. Thought I'd get bored really quickly but it just hasn't happened. If you can find a tidy one I'd say go for it. Even at the top of the market they only going for about £1500. A lot of car for the money
