its defo got none of the c1j its based on 172 block/head with audi 6 speed gearbox
oh of course it is mine is a bloody handful at 230bhp but his is more purely a drag car should be into the 9s very soon

chris (scoff) does all the mapping himself but uses wgt hub dyno

just a little heads up this car pulled 10.14 @146mph yesterday with an 8mph headwind there is certainly a 9 in there especially on the new 1st/2nd gear settings that he hasnt has chance to run fully

i snapped a drive shaft on one of my old escorts and had it recovered to my dads 110 miles away. whilst on the journey there the recovery driver and myself got talking about cars and he told me he used to part own a company called 5-alive that tuned them. he told me they were the 1st to fit a clio engine into the R5 or something

christ thats a name from the past not sure on that claim so i couldnt possibly comment on it, they were one of the old tuners along with ep motorsport, bb performance tuning, gt tuning and prima racing, in the old tuner wars days ep motorsport almost always come out on top

My old R5gtt was very quick, all the mods(21 had money to burn).... had the best front bumper on it: 4 fog light bumer looked standard as factory fitted. had a cheeky supercinq sticker on it
will find a pic and scan it.
sometimes when i accelerated it broke. but i always fixed it

I love them i've had 2. Remember years ago there was a r5gtt that used to go to maidstone bridge with a 5- Alive sticker across the back window probaly about 1995-96ish.
