I was going to build my own using an on-one carbon frame but it didnt work out,
I need to know what you think of this bike..........

http://www.tredz.co.uk/.Cube-LTD-Rac...-MTB_49463.htm

Im not sure ill be doing DH, mostly riding to work and some trial riding and single track stuff.

is this a good spec bike?
Id rather it had 120mm forks

Same as me then, its like riding a blancmange on most dh bikes, there are a few exceptions though.
Worst i've ever ridden was an Iron Horse sunday team, thing was terrible, until you aimed it down a hill.
Best i've ridden was my giant VT, pedaled like a hard tail, only an xc frame really though, hence i snapped the living shit out of it.

before this one i've had loads of them heres a few of them

and thats just the dh bikes and i know i've missed a few out too I'm currently saving for a santa cruz v10 or a morewood makulu

My old hardtail, built this up myself back in '94. Used to have Cook Bros cranks but some pikey cunt pinched them from outside Sainsburys

Really large frame by modern standards at 19.5" and a shallow head angle which makes the forks look bent

If anybody know somebody that can sort the seals in my MAG 21's I would be really chuffed as they don't keep the air in them any more

phil2002 the ns frames are brilliant i've got the same frame just older than yours as i wanted to build a freeride/dh sort of hardtail and you won't be dissapointed if you can deal with the weight over a ally frame

The weight shouldn't be too much of an issue. Took me over a week of internet and shop searching to decide on it. got a good deal on it too as it's a 2011 bike.

although I got it for £689. its nothing as hardcore as a DH bike but it will serve me well for what I need it for
