As it brightened up i decided to give the cossie a polish although to be honest it was already pretty good as had been looked after so well.I had heard good things about about Poorboys blackhole so gave this a try, followed by a coat of nattys red. Both products were very easy to remove and with no dust , great for black
Also gave the leather a clean with gliptone jelly , this came up great to although was also good to start with.
Overall for me its a better all round car as the s2 was really built for the strip/track. The cossie is better for me to go to the shows in , plus now my son is getting older he enjoys coming to them to and being a 4 door is more practical.I think this is the first car ive ever bought that i can honestly say theres hardly anything i need to do to it as its pretty much spot on
Looks perfect - and like you say practical to take the little ones out
I feel i have done to my 3dr what you have done to your RS Turbo and thats make it difficult to take the family in
It was more the only having to seats, the noise and the overall drive of the s2 that made it really not great for me as an all round car which is my own fault in a way for making it partly like that. The cossie will only come out on nice days like the s2 used to but at least with this its easy to drive and comfy and the main thing that i wanted it has 4 seats. So all in all im made up, plus the s2 has gone to a great home
Jamie, that's a PEACH mate, looks stunning, the Leather's flawless mate....
Great job, hope you enjoy it pal..
Cheers mate, im going to try and use this one a bit more, still only on nice days mind you but make sure it doesnt just sit in the garage.Hows things with you? have you done anything else to the 3door? cant really need much more can it?
looks a lovely saff mate but i also loved your old series 2. i nearly bought that before you did, awesome car and awesome spec. where has that gone to now?

Have a couple of these at work but they tend to flick polish everywhere and didnt want to spend ages getting it off everything as to be honest the paint is very good, just a few light swirls.
