Well, first off they're some lovely cars. The grey car is my favorite. That's some drive and garage there too.I'm quite new to this site,so I'll leave it to the regulars to ask specs and what not.Would be a s2 owner by now if I had of not bought an ultra reliable(but not as fast after tuning)mk6 rs2000.Now I want an s1 after seeing a certain thread.
thanks i still have my series 1 to. daves car was too good to pass up ive done 150miles in it and it hasnt missed a beat the only problem has been with the rondells catching inside of the coilover once spaced then the arch i need to allocate a bit of time to sort the coilovers out properly heightwise and rebound rate as they are just too soft.
the mk1 has just been bare metal restored and freshly painted needs building up it wont be anything silly 150bhp pinto.
the grey one has had a gadget cosworth conversion could not praise his work enough. its running 20psi live mapped by msd low compression bottem end big valve head on a t34 turbo it goes very well and sounds the nuts i prefer it to the white one its nowhere near it
powerwise but still prefer it!
i think the mrs just had enough i would to standing around all day!
thanks for the comments! i was thinking of putting the grey one up for sale soon but now quite undecided. a few more pics of it when it was on softlines. sorry no pics of the mk1 on this computer
Loving the white s2...and the grey s2...and the mk1. Heck, I even like that megane because it's surrounded by awesomeness.
Haha made me laugh! Thanks for the comments!
The white one went to central day 5miles out came on boost in 3rd gear a maximum of 4000 revs ripped 3rd gear to shreads and took everything else with it! Could only select 1st and 2nd at a push so not greatest entrance limping in with a very loud rattling box!
Very frustrating day as a week before I had the bara box removed to have the selector done as it couldn't find reverse so I wouldn't have to be pushed to park it and it turns out I still needed to be pushed! Its very true what they say the box took quite a bit of abuse on the way up but its always casual driving when they decide to give up!
