have to excuse the grainy black, the light was so poor it was untrue, that was at ISO 1000 at f2.8!!!!

Photos came out better than you could actually see them on the day, that fog was minging!
Last photo of my car you can see the boost hose that had blown off the turbo ruining my couple of laps following Rich Marples in his Evo 6

Its a stunning lens rick it really is, not cheap by any means (still go for 900 second hand) but so worth it. Portrait work is amazing and its nice and quick for track work. Im thinking 24-70 f2.8 next, that and a 2x teleconverter for the lens above so I can get 400mm. Not a cheap hobby though

No not cheap at all, im starting to learn that and mines just the toy version.lol
I do want somthing that brings out the colours the colours like that tho but not sure if i can bring myself to spend that much

Rick, the colours are down to post-processing pal, theres no getting away from the fact that wednesday was shocking for taking pictures, the light was not there and the fog simply made it worse, just for you, heres a before and after of JC's evo

the lens helps for image quality but it cant magic what isnt their. Dont get too caught up with the idea of 'needing' expensive glass.

Ahh, so your pic's are just as shit as mine then. LOL
Ive allready seen the lens that fits my budget and reqiurements, so hopfully that will do.

ps, just looked at the rest of the pics , there very good.
Nice one of thomas stood at side ready for a death ride., i should of taken the no plate tape off.
