FAO Dog Lovers - Just Bought A Pup - Akita

Got a siberian husky a few months back, as a rescue dog, some might remember. love her to bits, she is the coolest dog ever. for a few weeks, wor lass has been saying we should get a pup, as she cant walk kyla, as she pulls, and is far to strong for her, and she said we should get a pup so she can walk the pup with me and kyla, plus, as a freind for kyla, as when i walk her with my mate, her and his dog, have a whale of time, and as soon as we come home, kyla goes in a mood for an hour lol

my mates dog is a japanese akita, she's beautifull. and even though she is huge, she isnt difficult to walk, doesnt pull etc, so wor lass had set her heart on an akita.

well after weeks of getting my ear chewed off, i finally gave in, and today we went and picked up a japanese akita inu. the inu akitas are not like the average japanese, or american akitas, there quite a rare breed of akita, or so i have been told.

as of yet, she doesnt have a name.

my mate who has the akita, said inu akitas tend to be bigger than normal akitas, which are pretty big to start with. when fully grown, she could be anywhere between 80 - 110lbs and 24" high

Bri, she's been winging about a people carrier for months. if she's getting a people carrier, i wont be selling the mondingo to fund it mate, she either buys one herself, or she's shit out of luck mate

i wasnt really bothered what our lass got dicko, it was her choice mate. its our dog obviously, but technically, its hers, as she is training it, walking it etc, i just had to pay for it lol. ive got kyla to deal with mate, so its like the akita is her's, and the husky is mine, but like i said, obviously there our dogs, its not like either of us isnt going to bother with the 'others' dog.

and our lass has chose a name. she spent a couple of hours looking at japanese dog names. she was stuck on sucki (sooki), but i wasnt having any of that, so we agreed on oki.

There stunning pal lovely.

Be careful with two bitches living together, same as two males not normally advised.

the only reason i didnt get a male mate, kyla is very funny with male dogs. i got her as a rescue dog, she had been used as a breeding machine, and was in a bad way, ended up having to have a cesarean last time she had pups, as there was that many, and then the vet gave her a hysterectomy, she really was, lucky to survive. and when im out walking her, she is fine with female dogs, but if male dogs start sniffing her back end, she goes wild, so i thought it better, to get another female, as ive seen her with other females, and she is fine.
