obverisly without knowing which company done the conversion it's diffucult to tell, but there should be a sensor on the top and the bottom pulley so the engine can be set up and mapped properly, if it helps i can show you some pics of mine

Right spoke to Karl and the phase sensor is in the dizzy like so on cossies, so basically the dizzy has been modified so you don't have the phase sensor on show. Looks more tidy I think.

paul ,

obviously been spouted some shite by who ever told you that ,

ill clarify for ric,

his car runs a modified lower pulley , its had four pickups added a
@ 3 6 9 12 o'clock just like a standard cos setup and a cps then mounted to trigger the pickup ,

as for the phase sensor ,sometimes loacted on the camshaft pulley or taken from the cam itself , ricks distributer has been modifyed internally to relocate a cosworth phase sensor and trigger , all houses in a cvh dizzy , obv the cvh dizzy shaft is still there wich in turn still located in the keyway to give the relavant cam position ,

but yeah totally doesnt work AT All infact ricks car is just a giant ornament , hes never driven it , the engines got no internals and his l6 ecu is actually a chipped casio watch processor

belive me mate , theres no issues with this car , its a weapon , and as the sensors are loacted as they are it looks clean factory and there less prone to damage ,

so clean and factory id say that it confuses the fuck out of folks like yourself sausage ,

hope this helps

i never said it was'nt right, just from the photos it's different from mine and i could'nt obveriously notice any kind of top sensors, i guess differnet tuners have different ways of doing things, thanks for clearing it up anyway

if he wanted to go coilpack i assume he would need to remount the phase to the other end of the cam mate , as like a cossie cam trigger kit ,

im not 100% sure tbh fella, as weve never looked into a need for coilpacks on this setup ,

it could be possible to run a wasted spark setup like on the cosworth ? but i think he would have to upgrade the ecu to l8 ,

it does what it needs to for ricks power , and no doubt for alot more power paul

Paul am not chasing power figures mate its built for a fast road car, i will be happy with 250bhp and with the setup it is now its more than capable.

I have spent that much money on it getting it to the standard it is now that its not getting no more engine modds done anytime soon ! but it will be one to watch out for in the near future lol
