140 isn't that fast down hanger you sure it wasn't more than that as at 800hp it will be pulling a he'll of a lot more !
hi jimbo when i saw it readin 140 it was at a glance that was the 1st session of the day & james & i are still getting use to it as ford fair was the 1st time in the car but it was getting faster & faster throughout the afternoon

How do you get on with it, I drive the 6 speed in my dads well enough but have heard 7 speeds are very hard to get used to solo fast through the gears though eh

its a 7 speed FFD sequential which dead easy pal just bang it up down as you please
Amazing car, lots of nice and expensive goodies to complement it, deffo by the spec one of the best out there.
Any idea what it weighs?
the goodies are all genuine Ford 909 WRC or GRP A parts that have took years & miles getting together, FFD 7 speed seqen gearbox,9" rear diff 7.5" front diff wrc front crossmember square bear with mag arms etc arn't that easy to find
not sur what it weights but gonna weight it next time its at work on weight bridge lol
such a nice car! had a good look at it when at TRAX the weekend
what was nice is the owner of such a car didnt mind one bit me and my mates looking over it and admiring every inch of it as some people would with such a car

Thanks pete its my baby had it 8 years used to use it all day every day but restored it last febuary ish & now just use it 6 months through summer (if we get 1) & on odd trackdays runs brand new 200 block stud & nut ported head T34 greens 500 cooler MSD mapped anti lag/launch control etc 351bhp/338ftlb quaife diff (as went through 7 standard diffs in 1st 4 years lol) fabricated porsche brakes onto it but yeah i love it cheeRS for your comment
i had a good old look round this escort when it was at manchester rsoc meet a few month's ago all i can say is its Awsome!!! ,well built with all the right bits and sounded so good too.
