Default Couple of new 'shops

not been on here for a bit, been busy with other things. Getting back into the car though, and the drawing too.

Here's a couple that I did for some guys I know round my way. I know a few peeps had been wanting to see an S1, and I've not even seen a Focus RS one anywhere yet

Oh, and a cheeky portrait of Artur Boruc I done for the missus! Damn I hate that guy!!

Cause I'm gay mate, and I really fancy those blokes!

Lol, na, seriously though, I got paid to draw those guys. Nobody has ever paid me to draw a woman

Very talented mate. I'm sure you could earn a living doing portraits of kids/pets/ buildings for businesses. Have you done any pet portraits (particularly dogs)? Would be interested to see them if you have.

Mate, you'd be surprisd how many times I've been asked to do a drawing for someone, that will take me about 10-12 hours, and when I tell them it's gonna be Ł80, they look at me like I've got horns!

That's about Ł8 an hour for a skill I've been working at for 27 years. I'm sure good tradesman are charging a sh*t load more than that, and probably have half as much experience.

But that's life I guess! People think that just because it's a talent, it doesn't take time and effort. They don't see it as work for me.

Anyway, rant over! I've only ever done one dog portrait, and I hated it, lol. It's a lot harder to draw animals. The photo's need to be absolutely spot on too.

What did you have in mind?

cars are coloured in photoshop, using the mouse. Nothing fancy, but very time consuming!

portraits are all pencil/ballpoint pen
