Yoko AO48R's 205 50 15, burn out was minimal running at 15psi.

Good to see you progressing.

Good top speed. Have you changed the gearing? Mine hits the 7k limiter in 5th at 122mph, you went through the lights in 5th at 127mph?

Tops.

Still on standard box not fitting the new one for a few weeks yet.

Pulls that in 5th as im revving just shy of 8k now

Hp im not 100% sure on at moment as the weight as have changed it so much since last weighing. Id guess the 2bar boost would give circa 420hp and the weight to be 850ish kg

well done luke, you telling me you had sun up the pod yesterday?>

I thought id have to get my kayak out to get from emsworth to havant, it just didnt stop pissing it down.

what camera are you using inside your car?
If you can get traction wihout breaking the box, then you're on the way for 11's easily.

Got some old treaded ones from Richie which i used at central day and it didnt seem to change my times ( I think i need to burnout ALOT more and drop pressures)..

Yesterday I really wanted to push the "roadlegal" time down and speed up! It was too busy there to change to the drag radial so called it a day around half 4ish.

Big fat drag slicks next I think

theres an r32 skyline thats around 130 mph terminals, 4wd i know but hes in the mid 10s, you should easily be in the 11s mate with grip. literally first half of the track is wheelspin !

you definitely got the power thats for sure

are you going to a rwyb again this year ?

RWYB in October hopefully.

Far too low geared not bad for track but when you start pushing the power up they just rattle through the box too quick..imo!

I have a new gear kit though that i've had made which will greet 130 in 4th and peak at just under 190 in 6th.

Be intersting to see if this make a difference

october it is, let me know which date your going to and il meet you there if thats ok.

i think your gear kit will improve your car dramaticaly as you must only be doing about 75 when your shifting into 4th at the moment, you must have a good chance of getting traction a gear sooner with the taller gears.

Lets hope so mate, clutchless gear changes should speed things up too.

Will check on RWYB site to what date it was in October

my 60 ft times at totb were piss poor on my fastest run i did a 2.9
did a 2.3 i think but missed 3rd so run was slower

850kg come on son get it lower had mine corner weighted at 808kg with half tank fuel just changed the bonnet for a carbon fibre item which lost me 5kgs hoping to get sub 800's before my next 1/4 run

should see me into the 11's

well done again

Im not sure 100% as its not been weighed lately.
I wont be going any lighter on it, runs with glass all round now too.
So much nicer to drive!

If it was a solely drag car then it would be different.

wht times did you do at totb then?

i wish i could refit the glass in my nova not very practical especially in hot weather these polycarbs they hardly let any air in tbh

i did a 12.7 with a 2.9 60 ft it should do an 11 if i get a decent start, only did 4 runs before leaving to come home due to being ill! overall i was happy with the time seeing as it was my first time on the 1/4 with the car, also the surface at elvington isnt great

but again its not a drag oriented car so it will never be the fastest as its not what the car is about

well looking at your timeslip theres 5 tenths of a second to come just off your 60ft time then theres all that time your losing in second and third gear.

running 128mph you should be in the high 10s easily enough, 10psi of tyre pressure, big burnout and away you go......will be fun to see what your gearbox, clutch and driveshafts think of that

the only way you will shave 5 tenths is with full on drag slicks

I have this on the car currently but only ran with full boost in all gears as to see if i could compare the differences in slips. Didnt get enough consistant runs in to run with the adjustable/gear boost map.

Can try this next time.
