Trackday at Brands Full Grandprix track
Did a Trackday at Brands on monday. Thought I would share the pics... Lots of Lotus and Caterhams were there.
I had the little Clio there as Westy is off road waiting for new engine and gearbox!
Was this Clio there as well
and a Megane
I was sharing a garage with these guys. COOL car and really nice guys, have already been in touch about doing something else with them soon.
Clio was going really well in morning on R888's
but in the afternoon track had dried out so switched to the new Dunlop slick I bought from mrtyremotorsport who was really quick and helpful.
My uncle having a go of it. he loves the little clio!
Clios got new seats, steering wheel and harnesses that Mark Fish sorted and fitted for me. Really changed the feel of the whole car and it feels proper now... sorry for pics. Looks ALOT better in real life.

Slicks are about £160 each

Really top guy! I got some for Westy as well
Steve. Westy got some cracks on block around bolt holes at top. Its at Martoons now being long studded and be put on a proper WRC gasket on it...
gearbox... well... whilst engine was out... decided I might as well buy an Elite sequential 6 speed box.
Any excuse huh

How did the car feel going from 888s to slicks? Lastly what size did you go for? 185/580 15?
Iv got 200/580 15 for my corsa and iv got a feeling they are going to scrub.....ALOT
Im going to stop asking you questions about tyres now.

was running a AIM smartycam on the left... and a GOpro HD on the right hand side.
I managed to get one video on youtube from Combe....

but since then I just cant seem to work any of the video editing software. I have just gone over to all Apple stuff and am really struggling to work ANYTHING!
might go back to laptop and try and it on there.
Tyres... yes. 185 580 15's look a bit gay and skinny. Gripped very well. Not MASSIVE improvement though to be honest.

, but looks awsome, these cars are cracking, always playing with them round my way, cant touch them in the corners, but 80 upwards is a doddle, just need a few more ponies !
a proper load of fun on the track i bet wouldnt mind a drive in one
