Default New car! ST24

Got a new toy to ferry me to work and back. Please dont ask why because i dont know myself, i need another car like a hole in the head but it was cheap and i always secretly wanted one of these, so my hand went up, hammer down and i was the new owner! still dont know why though

144100 miles and its as tight as ever. stunning to drive. it was jumpy to drive but i cleaned the maf and its really really smooth now, not 100% mind but i'll sort it. stunning power delivery and so effortlesly quick! i know how fast i'm going in the orion due to gear and engine noise, but not in this.

Typical mondy bumper, scuffed and cracked

Interior is mint! truly mint. slight wear on the gearknob but thats literally it. it hides its miles well tbh.

Aaaand,, why it was cheap now... the bad side

it needs a rear door and that rear arch finishing.

But still. alny opinions? sorry abouit the pics though i've just taken them at 9pm, i've been tinkering with it for a few hours.
Joe.

Cheers, the colour is Med Steel Blue apparently but it looks grey to me

it was just under Ł500 all in, inc a years ticket this afternoon, needs 1 tyre and a front bearing tightening up, aparently you can do that on these

Yeah its not bad is it really. Considering theres nothing really wrong with it anyway. i think the "stuttering" put the old owner off, theres brand new leads on it, and coilpack. maybe there was a garage somewhere pushing for bigger money trying to rip him off but he just got rid instead. not sure though.

chuffed with it tbh, especially since i cleaned the MAF its near perfect and i'm not going to touch it anymore i dont think. i might put some wheels on it and fix the damage but other than that its fully loaded and ready to go. everything works too i'm well pleased with it.

you havent still got a door have you?

I had a look at the exhaust today. what were they thinking when they designed that system!
its a fecking mystery puzzle to trace it. if that goes i'm scrapping it sod replacing it anyways.

Shame! never mind though cheers i'll get one, not in a hurry for one it just looks rough. its still watertight and no wind noise so all good in that respect.

they are good cars, imes never let me down in the almost 2 years ive owned it

the stuttering can be a number of things though

either plugs, injectors, air flow or the secondaires which get clogged up with carbon but are also electronic controlled, except the control box is above the exhaust so insides melt
