the black one had an under bonnet fire wednesday night ! seen it drive in the pits with smoke comming out of it,bloke lifted up the bonnet to a fire.lucky to get it out so fast.

Both cars are owned by mates of mine.

The white one caught fire because the union on the fuel rail popped off. Not to much damage done. He was back on track @ Brands on Weds night.

The black one had come straight from the rollers and caught light because the Lambda sensor blank was not put back in. Hot exhaust gasses where hitting the soundproofing on the firewall and catching it alight.

mine nearly caught fire when the bailey pre-turbo filter (sits right on top of ther turbo) snapped leaving hot oil dripping onto the exhaust manifold - was on the motorway a few mins earlier at 90mph and luckily noticed when i came off and was just round the corner from my house so limped the car home - luckily no damage done but it does make you think - my fire extinguisher didnt work either
