my new car...Sierra rs500.
I seen this for sale and after a chat with Martyn,the owner,we came to a deal with me giving him my 3 door and cash for his car.
the car has got a bit of history to it and a few original parts changed but that was not a problem with me as it can and may,be changed back to normal.
here are a few pics.

what do you mean a 'known one' lol.
the spec is...gt30 turbo,external waste gate,stainless tubulor exhaust manifold,8 injectors,p+p head,low comp,big wing sump,oil cooler,quaife gearbox,diff,AP 6 pots with 330mm discs,coilovers,few defi gauges with the controller.
the engine has just been rebuilt but has a knock so will need looking at,thats why Martyn got rid, he had enough spending on it.

you,ve joined a select club mate,the sleepless nights begin,looking for the most remote spot in tesco's,over eager polish car washers,paper boys who lean there bike against it,corsa drivers throwing pies at it,prostitutes leaving stiletto marks in the roof lining,people holding you up in the garage when you just want to pay n go,........yep,but it'll will still be worth it........

Martyn kept the splits that were on this car the for my old 3 door,which they were off anyway when i bought it lol,in doing that i had to take the cailpers off to get it home as the standard wheels would not go anywhere near them
will sort some nice wheels for it.

yes its a gt3071.
Pete frst...not that bothered,been there and done that years ago.
Botters...lol, yes it does,got brand new 4x4 rear calipers with 300mm brake discs to go it it when i get a chance then i can adjust it.

pmsl, i will have to get it welded back in to the exhaust...little jobs that it will need doing Pete lol.

be a rare find if someone finds a car that is unknown,cannot be that many left out there that are unknown.
Dave, nothing wrong with the rst's mate, i have had enough of them over the years before i got into the cosworths,they were a very reliable car back when i had them,not like the cossies.

This the one from Cheltenham Dave? If so, i remember seeing it seeing it a few years ago at some meet & it cut out & wouldnt start lol....seems to have changed abit since tho!
