Luca, I got a few of that run and it shows you reeling in the gt40! trying to make it into an animated GIF for you. Was a treat seeing your car, truly!

Karl, didnt go as low as I normally would, I was with the wife and young one so didnt really have a lot of time to stay in one place and get into the groove. Not been at a track for over 6 months so wanted to make sure I got some keepers, think I was playing around the 1/160 mark. Would have been fun to get down to some 1/80th shots but its not like track where you get chance over and over again, alot of the cars only ran once or twice. Plus I knew that if it suited it I could add blur later on (mk1 festa above for example). I dont mind editing til the cows come home, know alot people rave on about straight out of camera but I couldnt give a shit
thanks for kind words all ^

On a side note Steven, does the 70-200VR have the auto focus motor built into the lense? Reason I ask is I want a good lense like that but am using a D40X body which has the auto focus in the lense. The standard 18-55 lense is crap for trying to stop moving shots like you've done .
