The problem being Carlo, i really like Porkie and respect him so my banter about the M5/430 will now be taken as a complete diss all because of chip sticking his oar in, just like the good old days a? The 430 standard exhaust is awesome with the valve pipes 'popped' off and blocked up. That way the valves are open even at idle. The noise in 1st and 2nd just trickling along in traffic makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. 2200 rpm's the best!!! when you start it up from cold in the mornings though just watch it scare the life out of anyone who happens to be around!!! Awesome, just awesome.

as potentially porkies best mate i'd also love to hear how the 430 compares to the 911
and i'd also like to know how long the honeymoon is going to last
and what is better/worse on each car when compared back to back, even though the 430 seems to be the much better package at the moment

Why don't you act like he is a mate then? You go on as though he's a really pretty woman who you are desperate to shag. Whenever a friend of mine gets a new car I give it the 'It's not bad like, I suppose it will do until you can afford something decent'. Even though it might be a nice car. He knows I'm joking, and that's the way it is. If this was my mate, I'd tell him not to bother with the review, as I'll be round to find out for myself. Instead of begging for his opinion. Even though I'd like his opinion, it's just banter.
But with you it's constantly talk of desperation, as though you are desperate to keep such friends. You can call me but a lot of other people have replied and spotted it. I'll say no more, as you'l twist it and go all physcology on me, and claim I had a bad up-bringing, but I'll finish with this; get a fucking grip of yourself for God sake!

@ this thread and how its turned out. anyhoo,
my m8 down the street has had a 348 and a 355 ferrari, he put the tubi exhaust on the 348 and had it off within a week, it was too loud, and i told him it sounded like a mr2 with a kit on, so back to the old exhaust it was. he never bothered changing it with the 355, because, as has been stated eairler, if you drive it slow, its quiet, if you nail it, its nice and loud. like an exhaust should be if you ask me.
