hi ,

all after seeing the rouse group a car on the cover of this months
performance ford i thought i would post some of my original tim harvey
labatts sierra as raced in 1990,

by the way anyone noticed that the so called original rouse built car
in performance ford has the wrong roll cage in it and no air jacks wrong dash gauges , so even when it says rouse built it and has a rouse plate

pop rivetted to it does not mean anything, it certainley has all the right mechanical bits fitted to it, so looks like its just been reshelled,

as i think if you showed andy rouse a bolt in roll cage that did not go into the engine bay, he would say i did not build that shell,

Martin - 2 things:

1. Your cars are some of the best things on 4 wheels I've ever seen.

2. You have too much money

The one in PF has it too, it says it is a back up fuel pump for if the electrics go wrong it wont cream the engine.

hi cawood,

no it was not if fast ford , that was a copy,

p.s the rouse built one in this months performance ford , is a bit fishey!

dont get me wrong the running gear is spot on, but where did the air jacks go,

and when was the last time touring car teams bolted there roll cages in!

so although they say it was lawence britows car from 1989, in may have his mechanical bits bolted to it , but rouse did not build that shell,

if its been reshelled why not be onhest and just say it,

i have pictures of lawence bristow labatts 1989 car and the cage and interior are all very different to this car,

pop rivetiong the original plate from a dead shell is very easy!

front and rear brakes,

small by todays standards, but back when it was racing the rules where you could only go up 2" from the road wheel for what model,

hence all three doors and rs500 had 15" wheels on them so race sierra could only o to 17" max
