No, not really, unless you want to spend big money on them. Just a few extra horsepower with a chip, air filter and magnex

they changed from mk3 to mk3.5 in the L reg. obvious difference is the filler cap flap. there are RS1800's on a N reg as well. keep your eyes peeled!!
