heres a couple,the crystal blue 1 was mine,not really abandoned but i doubt it will ever see the road again,possibly the banger track as i sold it to an irish guy who plans to semi rebuild it with a pinto for banger racing.

Was in the Durham area today trying to buy a set of wheels for my 3 door and on the way back i spotted this totally standard rs turbo on someones drive. Took a sneaky picture of it as it looks like its been there a while and ive ran a check on it through the dvla and its been off the road since 1990

That really is a fascinating area and I bet it harbours quite a few abandoned Fords! Rumours are that there is an abandoned dealership in the town centre and the cars were still in there
Obviously they will be in a bad way now but nothing like the cars left outside over here.
I wish you could see inside the city though because it's fascinating, I'd love a nose around but I thought you couldn't get anywhere near it.

I was in Zante last week and just went walking about with the missus and found this mk4 escort just laid at the bottom of somebodys garden as we walked along the path,saw all sorts of weird and wonderful cars just rotting away at the side of the road

here's a sierra 4x4 from my father in laws, along with a buick which have been there since about 2000, the 4x4 he got in 98 and never done anything with. It would make an nice resto. Him and the brother in law have alsorts,mk1 escort , mk2 escort 5 x ford anglias, mk1 cortina, mk1 cortina estate, ford pop van, austin a 30 van, 3 door cosworth and sierra 4x4 2.9. chevvy 57 bel air, plus ther daily hacks, its like a scrap yard really

Yes, amazing story, it's just as if time was frozen as everything has been left exactly how it ws when the people living there fled even down to washing still being left on the lines. I guess it will remain as a ghost town. I read that it would cost about 10 billion Euros to bring it back to a level where it could be inhabited again followed by another comment that it would be cheaper to flatten it and start again.

not to far from where i live old man owns them there are more one other blue one in better condition and old peugeot and lada viva
he is pestered with gypsies all the time but i talked to him and he is happy to sell them to me but i have no interest in them
