My new toy
Not quite the 3 door cosworth my brother owns, but getting rare all the same, here is my XR4i. I bought it last week and we have spent today cleaning it up. Sensible mods already done, it runs unleaded, the next thing to do is the cossie bumper I think.
If it wasn't running unleaded I would probably try and source the 24v 2.9, I may still do so in the future.

It has no rust at all, roller rockers, full stainless exhaust, unleaded heads, excellent interior, konis all round, full history, the list goes on, last owner 10 years and I gave him a grand.
Must have trod in something last week, because I am not normally this lucky. All my luck is in the car because my bike is being a bu***R.

Lot of motor and a lot of fun for a grand! Looks a bit of a minter too
I know you said you may fit a cossie front bumper but I'd keep the 4i one on as it suits the look of the car, just my opinion tho m8, sure it'll look sweet with either or
ps luvin the silver/red paint, really sets it off!

it is a clean car as i spent half the day cleaning it for him, even the normal rust areas are clear, some people can fall in sh*t and come out smelling of roses, £1000 was a bargain.

Thanks for the replies guys, is the boat anchor really that bad? Will the 24v match up to my exhausts?

sideways all the way!
white one looks smart,give topboss performance a call pal,they know these cars inside out,you have to do something with the gearbox to match up,my mate did it with his,it was a n/a animal after.
