cheers maria i take it you like it then, at are meet last sunday, took rob for a blast and when i parked back up one of the lads at the meet tryed to buy it, he said he would give me 25k i said NO ! he thourght i was going to snap his hand off at that price and when he asked how much then i said bring 30k in cash to me house and see what mood i was in and he might just drive it away

well new plate on, nos sold, and at the pod the car did 12.5 1/4 mile at 111 mph well happy with that as i drove it hard off the line but i know that someone that didnt give a dam whould have probley gone a bit quicker

here is a pic of me new rims, they have taken ages to get and one of them is damaged as well, havent tryed them on yet but will do on monday i hope, iam not to sure about the rims as i have seen them on other escort cosses and dont like them much but they havent been finished the same colour, just hope they fit ok, look good and dont kill the ride, we shall wait and see, the misses wants me to send them back as see thinks they are bad luck as they were orderd twice, 4 months late, came wrong colour and then when they did turn up one damaged, o well she might be right

Me rims are on at last, just took some pics not the best pics but hope you like, i feel some bigger front and rear brakes will be next 
just getting a badge made up for the centre to get rid of the hole and they will be sorted cheers dunc

bling bling i must say the center cap looks much better like this, the other way round ( the way they should be ) looks crap.just need to get my holes caped as well

Sorry Dunc but in my opinion they don't look right. I know they cost loads and are no doubt very good quality, but they look too modern on the Escos and dare i say it a bit spindly and Max Power (flame suit adorned lol) 
Would probably look ok on a modern jap car Skyline etc...but not my cup of tea on yours sorry!
Wasn't a fan of the Rondells either and if it were me i would have gone for some Comps which yes are common but do really suit the age/style of the car.
What does it drive like on 19's? as i have found that bigger wheels although do look good on certain cars often ruin the way it drives!

I do and still do like the look of rondells on escorts, but when you see the car in the flesh they do look very good and as for the ride at the moment as they are the same width and rolling diameter as the rondells cant realy tell much difference, as the car had a very hard ride befor any way. Going to take it out later and give it some so will report back latter on

the pics dont do them justice at all,you do need to see these wheels properly,i think they suit the esc cos and it just gets away with the modernish look, theyre like an updated rondell in a way,they would look awful on a 3 door though ,not sure about a sapph

Wheels are nice mate , although i do prefer Rondells on an escos But like RADMAN said, you need to see them in the flesh as i took some pics of the auralis blue escos with these wheels on in gold at Combe and they looked really nice on the car

well i have given it some and all feels fine iam glad to say, also sorted out the centers now. still not 100% sure on the rims all the time, probley because they just look so much bigger than the rondells
dont like them
