Cheers. Not a valeter am afraid, jst hate driving a diry car ha. Was my daily driver for 4 yrs so got cleaned a lot. Used to use Silvro on the exhaust & plenty of effort!

Wish hadn't sold it now oh well, but got myself an Escort RS now so it not 2 bad.

Know w u mean about the RS's. Thats why have got a TDi Clio as an everyday car. Very cheap to run & reliable! Use the RS for a bit of fun.

Here's mine which i used to use as my daily run around for the last 3 years until i got my new van now it just sits in my Garage and comes out as and when i can be bothered
.
.
Not a GTI, but a Ghia to which i added the GTI kit so i have best of both.

.
As for modding, Keep it siple, but the most important thing to do is to loose the soppy Brakes.
.
I done what everyone else does and fitted 280mm on the front ( you can use V6 Mondeo or Escort Cossie as they are the same )

And the slightly Modded Caliper carier

.
RS2K rear Disc beam. Simply bolt it up. job jobbed....Simples

No Mate, i have no ABS so nothing to worry on that score. It seams who ever ordered the car from new specified every option except abs !!!!

Fitting one really is a peice of piss, and you end up with a Handbrake that works !!!!

Aye the RS2k Beam is no good if the car has ABS (GTi Will have ABS from Factory)

The MK6 Beam is the better beam. Stiffer

The Focus conversion is a little tricky but is a well worthy conversion.

The Focus set up will give an ET of -25 and the RSF will give -33 over stock.

I only know of three people who have done this conversion ??? Well three people who have the ABS working and the light extinguished over 10mph .....
