Default My F150 Lightning truck!

After about 12 years of wanting one I finally bit the bullet and bought one!! Found a mint 03 plate with only 26k on the clock a couple of weeks back!!! Will be standard for a while then will start playing with it!!!!!

Few rubbish pics!!

Yeah they are prone to spitting plugs ... Same with the newer 3v heads. The plugs break off in the head and its an epic 3 day job to get them out ... Revised in 2007.

I raced an SRT10 in my 08 FX4 and they are pretty quick but cannot do anything with a Blown Roush or Saleen Truck ..

The lightning is a 2wd Street Truck where as the SRT is a 1500 RAM with the V10 instead of the 5.7 HEMi

On the plug front i have heard this also. From 2003 though they revised the head and put longer threads on them luckily!!

12 years is a long time to wait, but glad you went for the last good looking model!

The Dodge Ram is a beast though, mate of mine has one...and a Ferrari! Git!
