Very impressive..........looks mint

Do you have rub problems due a 30mm lowered suspension with 17" alloy wheels??

Took the car for a drive the other day and not had any scrubbing, the wheels are 7.5" wide too. As long as the wheels are a good offset 30mm is fine

Ok!!

I asked you because I´ve got a Rs7 17" 7.5" ET35 diamond cut alloys on my RS turbo on standard suspension and I want to replace them with new KONI set adjustable with -20 or -30mm springs. Which KONI KIT do you recommend me??
I don´t want scrubb or rub problems with 17"

My koni's are the top adj ones and they are g-max 30mm springs. I dont think 20mm would be low enough but its all down to personal preference

There isnt much left to do really on the fiesta, got rear brake lines, front mount and exhaust to do on it, along with few other little jobs - re-fitting interior etc.
Going On holiday for 2 weeks tomorrow then going to get on with it basically as soon as im back. I want both my rs's out this summer so they are first priority now!!

Ok!
But KONI kits for Rs Turbo are provided with -20mm springs, is it right??
Koni springs are not good so you fitted g-max or you only change them to go for -30mm??

The springs that koni do with their sport kits are all -25mm.

I have my fiesta which is 2.1 16v which is 330bhp & 360llb torque which is only going to be a dry use, reasonably quick, summer car.
My escort will be one of my daily cars so didnt want the hasstle of maintaining 2 big spec rs turbo's as it gets too much hard work!!

I always get my cars set up by Stu & Kenny at Motorsport Developments and ive always found mfi to be really reliable when set up properly. The last 2.1 escort which i had on mfi was similar spec to this one and once set up i used daily and never really had any problems with it
Im not aiming to make this one a silly spec, just want it nice to be able to use it without all the problems. As everything is basically brand new on the car it should be a really nice reliable car (Hopefully anyway)

Sorry for late reply, only just got back off holiday last night

Thanks

Carl

It depends how far you go with it to be honest and how good the car is to start with. my fiesta and escort are both really low milage and never been welded or anything so wasn't that bad to have the underneath painted. The escort didnt cost half as much as the fiesta to do because with my fiesta i have re-newed every single nut, bolt, washer, bushes, brake lines etc etc. just depends how far u wanna take it
