Rolling Road Day at Austec Racing
My first trip to a rolling road since owning my first cosworth, so i thought id show off the fun day I had, although it was very, very cold, -3 degrees according to my mates outside temp gauge in his car! I went to austec racing, in crawley. Just happens to be on the same industrial estate where I work but never knew it was there!
Here are some pics and videos of the day...
My car going on the rollers
Very pleased with the service and was given some top advice, all in all was a good laugh and a good day out with some mates!
Hope You like!

My car ran 334bhp and 232lb/f on the power run, then i got it remapped with better fueling etc and it then ran 356bhp and 242lb/f. Thats on green injectors and a T34 turbo, 500 cooler.
Not sure on the spec of the escort cos, but it had a graph print out and it was 530ish, was a lovely car, only got 30,000 miles on it!

Thought the torque would be well over 300lb/ft with that amount of power.

Yep, they got some nice motors down there, spent ages drewling over them!
I did think that about the torque, i dont know why but the last rolling road graph from a previous owner, the torque is down on that too. I don't know to be honest!

mike the torque is down because the boost was all over the place ..... james is right it should be 3-350... Like i said get that turbo sent off it has issues. You are on the end of your green injectors but the turbo should have more puff.. ( but it was struggling) .
Or book it in and ill look at it for you ..

Yeah im gonna get that turbo sorted soon, might use it as an excuse to get a bigger one and some different injectors, but I havent decided yet! I wouldnt mind seeing 400bhp and some torque to match (ish) lol
