When I bought it around 2 1/2 years ago
With my mates series 2
Few mods.....
I blew it up and it has sat at my old mans for some time now, has been rebuilt in the last few months with some help from a mate. but I recently lost my job so until I find work again it wont be going nowhere!
heres how it is now
Its up and running just got to sort a few niggles out on it and got a few new things to fit, front mount, wheels, mk 3.5 mirrors etc.

the ones without the strips dont look right imoa its like having a s1 with out the decals on the doors or 1 on the boot
put them back on!!!

some of my old one... loved this car..
put a new dash in it as well. Never got any pics of the dash finished ie wood surround sprayed black

32atuning - what happened to yours, i loved that car but since i got into frst's few years back i havnt seen it. did you break it or sell it?

Would have had this longer if it hadn't taken a wack up the arse at some point and had a very creased rear floor.... Not a bad motor pushing 195 though.

Yeah, broken and scrapped. Only actually bought the car for the engine and running gear but when we went to look at it right up in bonny Scotland, it was too good to leave behind for the extra Ł100 the guy wanted for the whole car (it would have cost me nearly that to ship the engine to myself in a crate)...... so we drove it home.... unfortunately there were no docs with it which we weren't bothered over, but when my other half was tugged by the police in it one night on his way home.... the questions they asked him started ringing alarm bells, the MOT was just about to expire anyway so it was at that point that we decided to do what it was originally bought for and break it. It was a shame, cos we had the turbo refurbed and the damn thing went like stink.... it was scarily fast.

Thanks for the comments.. Did you see it in fast ford with the black one? I p/x it with a escort rs turbo due to it needing a engine rebuild but couldn't afford it due to buying a new house.

Not had it running yet, its been a project for the last 6 months. Had all underneath painted white and engine bay smoothed, all wiring hidden. New engine, box, turbo, suspension, wheels, brakes, stainless brake lines, bushes every nut, bolt etc etc.

Im on Gaz coilovers all round, spacers front and rear & 195/40 tyres it was a bit too low when them pictures were took needs to be a little bit higher so it doesnt scrub my arches
