SS4 Cams, HD Big end bolts, HD Valve springs, Omex rev limiter and launch control (New rev limit of 7800rpm) Helix Organic Clutch and Lighten and balanced flywheel MSD Pre-mapped chip - will go for a live map next year when i fit throttle bodies!
Edit: Btw that was half way through fitting the strut brace - its now bolted down!

Yeah mate go for it! I was considering a zetec S before I got my focus but decided against because I felt the zetec S wasn't all too tuneable and also wanted the slightly bigger car. Still like these though I have stage 2 Comp cams waiting to go in though. Are the SS4s a "stage 4" cam? You know the profile (duration) and lift of the cams?

What engines in the focus?
Erm dont think so, its a custom profile Jon at ShawSpeed has had made, I believe his cams for the 1.6 Zetec SE engine go SS2, SS4, SS3 and then SS5's - SS3's need Throttle bodies to run and Youngdan is having SS5's fitted atm! They sound immense - near enough Super1600 spec I believe!
Sorry i dont know the profile and duration of the cam though!

It's a 115bhp 1.8 zetec as standard but mine pushes out 132bhp with 140 ft.lbs of torque. Hopefully with everything going in after Christmas I'll see mid-ish 140s for bhp and hopefully closer to 150ft lbs of torque.
Is that the limiter just before you shift? Sounds like the fuelling isn't right ...
Sounds proper meaty though!!!!

Yea, its a hard cut limiter, if you hearing a whirring noise it could have been the wheel bearings they were making a racket! they've been changed now though! lol
You can just hear as i change into 2nd i lose abit of grip were the wheels are spinning at high rpm!
Its been pretty good on mpg, it may not be fueling correctly though due to the map i do want it live mapping but i cant justify the cost when i want to fit throttle bodies in the next year and getting it mapped again!

I got a premapped chip from ShawSpeed that MSD had done on a spec that is the same as mine. Live Mapping would be alot better though.
MSD will be the guys who map it when i do go for mapping!

i want to ideally run a pro-tech 4-2-1 and keep the rest of the exhaust standard jsut for a ncie clean look and quiet sound

Ive got a full Milltek, 4-2-1 decat (and sports cat too lol) and milltek cat back.
The milltek is really nice, when cruising on the motorway and steady driving its really quite, but put your foot down and it really starts to make some noise!
You could always cut off your standard tip and weld it on to the new exhaust!
