pmsl.. I too was expecting a real one.
I was thinking 'fuck me, 6k in over 40 years...'

Still, looks like stunning motor even if it aint a 1960s monte winner.
I prefer the arches in black though.

uprated rear anti roll bar,
pro alloy cooler and remap

that should see us around 240bhp

then see where the old man wants to take it from there, maybe buy a spare block and build it up, who knows

with what we have done now it drives so much better, the flat spot in the mid range has now gone and it just pulls so smoothly through the rev range and the mpg has also increased which is a good thing

Don't really like Minis and never have done but fair play, they certainly go well!

That induction kit...in a more useless position that my focus one was Couldn't you edge it closer to the front?

Yes we may beable too

but we were thinking of making a tube from the bonnet inlet straight to the foam filter

Well the new wheels turned up from Martin quicker then expected, and Matt baxter off here fitted up the tyres for me

Firstly made sure the calipers cleared behind the rims

Tyres then fitted

Im really happy & think they will look awsome once fitted

Im doing something special for the center caps, as I didnt like the shitty cheap chrome look

Looks great that fella, the carbon goodies will make a great statement once fitted. Should make for a rapid little motor with the said modifications, and those AP's will look right at home behind those lovely hoops!
