Nothing from me for ages, working away in rough areas so darent take the camera with me. Dying to use it in anger again. Fancy some good landscapes but its finding the time. Anyway, one of my 'little' girl....

^ classic mk2, love it, B&W suits it so much, Id be very tempted to push the whites a touch to get a slight bit of contrast but thats my personal taste. Would make a great canvas, good work, nice lens that. Oh, perfect shutter speed too

edit to say, it could be my monitor, Ive imported to lightroom and the histogram is pretty much spot on so not sure the whites do need a boost. Ive had a play with lo-res version and a slight increase in the lights region and a drop in shadows does look better for me.

Yea I did try pushing the whites a touch more but wanted to retain bonnet detail as much as possible and try and keep it all 'together'.

I opted for the b&w as I simply felt the dust trail could offer a moody look to the shot, and I reckon it worked well.

The lens is a gem, definately glad I bought it now.

Can anyone tell me how to do HDR photos on my Canon 500D? really like the effect but dont understand how to take them well and mat them together.
