G you missed when guy woodcock got the roundabout hairpin wrong and banged his magnesium speedline up the kerb, the rim completely come off and the spokes smashed off as he kept going. My mates got a magnesium spoke as a souvenir.

i know one of the lads too, he was the bloke who painted the car and hugh hunters wrc escort which was on the front cover of performance ford recently.
he was servicing the focus wrc, well looking after it as it didn't need much doing too it,so we had a yap.He used to do all my cars when he had his own bodyshop in eleesmere port.i was there at the start and the focus went round the hairpin sideways, also had a chat with John Price who was looking after one of his old cars,the blue and red 6r4 stojanov was driving, Pricy has won the Prom more times than anyone else and is probably the most succesfull 6R4 driver ever.
i got very wet but it was a good day, my mate has some video and pics i'll post up when he pulls his finger out
