National Day + Sapphire Cosworth 20th Anniversary
National Day 2008,
Great day after all the rubbish weather forcasts that where handed out in the weeks before the event.
Getting into Donington was amazingly good, its the first year iv driven from Donington services where we meet as a group straight into he pits and padock entrance and onto the group stand without sitting for more than 30sec unbelievable well done the organizers whatever you did?
Track action was good but sadly missing a couple of really great car due to noise limits on the day, i always thought that National day was an unsilenced day but maybe they couldnt get the date in the calender this year, shame.
The day was good all round IMO lots to look at the Registra's displays looked good and the melboune loop club stands looked very good.
Being a die hard Sapphire Cosworth fan the 20th Anniversary Stand and Paraide lap was great with some really nice example on display, was also nice to once again see Marc Mccubbins car on display in Concours looking so well and really showing the Sapphire Cosworth at its best.
