fastest rs turbo iv seen was 160.9mph 0-60 5.41 1/4mile 13.75 and that was in performance ford. so yours is still pretty rapid.

This S2 is pretty much standard mate, body seems tidy as fook really, is on a D plate so is well early but had engine rebuild not long ago

Unsure what power jamies is now but it aint that hard to get that sort of power with the right Turbo,Head and fuelling

The year of a S2 is erelavent mate IMO cause i always go with condition and not miles but sounds like a good one

he was runnin 270 ponies under the bonnet last it was in prformance ford. but their have been a few big power rs turbos 350- 380 but none of them are as fast a jamies i know it holds the record in performance ford for top speed 160.93.there supposed to be a cossie that has broken the 200mph barrier in this months issue.

fezzcozzie, That Cosworth that has broken the 200mph barrier is Rod Tarry's mental Sierra Saphhire, about 750bhp including NOS mate, think it did 201mph, has always been a quick car, think it used to hold the record for 2wd back in the day! Its one of the daddy's mate, built by Mark at MADevelopments!

Thanks Dave i do try and get some footage on vids whenever i'm out and about.When the Cossy is sorted i've got a race lined up with a Noble M400 which my brother has just brought....lol. Will most likely destroy me but it will be fun

It was 75k and is in silver with black trim and wheels beautiful car imo

lol.... my cossy aint no match for a Noble round bends on the brakes or even excellerating but it all depends on the driver and how much he is prepared to take the car so i might be in for a good race cause my brother is shite....lol

Hopefully i will have another after crimbo.I have a Vectra SRi 140 on an S that i could always sell to help fund it

I've got all my bits for the cossy sorted so just waiting on my engine builder to sort it will be up and running by the end of January

Was looking at the grudge match feature of your old car last nite in PF and although the new owner has had abit done to it they say the power has gone up to 280bhp but I thought that when you had it, it was over 300 with the NOS on

Carl who owns it now isn't really capable of driving it as it should be and isn't into racing around and it was also very wet on that shoot which did him no favours at all.If he had come to the escort shoot the other week i could of got some decent times out of it i'm sure

Oli managed 157mph i think and not 100% sure on what the sprint figures where Jamie never entered a car cause his isn't ready yet


The saph won't be doing any racing because it is well under power to compete with the big boys but ya never know
