Thats a tough one mate cause they are both fookin awesome to drive but the cossy wins it for me in the grin factor running 350 is
I do miss the Escort in the way of competing and getting the attention but the cossy makes me feel better.

It was an on going thing when i had the escort that a zvh engine was fundamentally floored and was basically shit cause it didn't rev and produce power high up the revs so i proved them wrong it was just abit of fun videoing that i did
It made 254 at 14psi and peaking at 6600rpm so it defo rev'd

I did have Nos fitted just before i sold it, just a 50 shot tho also could run 18psi out on the road

In its day mate when everyone slated the zvh and said that it couldn't rev and was totally shat i built one(one of the first) and proved them wrong.
So what sort of figures does your big boost 1600 low comp cvh produce?????
At 14psi it was a genuine 250bhp,as proven on 4 different RR's.....is yours??

good choice
A well built 1600 is capable of producing 300+ but i can't see it being a good allrounder as a 2.1. Its awesome bottom end
