Default Pic request... arch repairs

After pics of you repairs to your rear wheel arches before paint and filler... and whats the proper way to weld in the repair pannel so rust dont come back, and the repair doesn't start to crack...

I need both rear arches on my MK2 Orion sorting before paint...

best way to do it is to cut out the shit metal and weld in a repair panel, fill & prep it before paint.

If you fill the rust hole it wont last a month or 2 before it starts to bubble...trust me!

best tip i can give you is dont cut off too much off the repair panel in one go do small amounts and do your weldin a bit at a time to if you get the pannel hot is will warp and lose shape

inner and outer panels completly welded. best advice i could give make sure they fit before welding (that is critical) and but weld them making sure there is a gap between the two panels the width of a hacksaw blade.
