Default I bought a XR4x4i Estate

I bought a Sierra XR4x4i Estate

It's A 2.8 XR4x4i Estate from 1987 this is a rare one most are 2.9's
This one has Cossie Recaro's seat's and Cossie steeringwheel ,4x4 bonet and grill
It's been lowerd and has Koni adustable shocks
And I mounted 17 Inch Softline's on it

The engine was filled with fuel and pushed all oil out of the engine
The engine was a 81 2.8 Capri engine
Now there is a 2.8 83 Sierra XR4i engine in it
It's temporary an til I vond a suitable 2.9 24v engine

Here some pics

How I bought it @ my work A VW dealer

After the engine swop in the snow @ home

The lower radiator hose splited that day

Last week

Now the top radiator hose is split

Cheers Wiebe

Its a nice car mate. But i would stick with the 2.9 12v. Sounds much better.

if you are going to put a 24V in there you will need to find a later 2.9 sierra to rob for the gearbox and props and diffs and sump etc
