My girlfriend has had her S2 for a good 3-4 years now, and over that time has been gradually changing how it looked, and always planned on a re-spray etc. Last year my missus put her car into my mates bodyshop to get a few bits done for it's MOT. This snowballed into an almost full body resto!

I think the only original panels left are the doors and roof!!

Anyway, I decided to give it a good wash and wax today, as since it's been restored, we've had problems with it running, so it's never been used - it was filthy!

I won't bore everyone with the photo's of the stages of restoration - we've all seen them 100 times before!

We're not a huge fan of the standard S2 alloys, although a nice clean set, and some original spots would set it off nicely.

She's got her heart set on the 17" soft spokes from the later fords though, black S2's look the bollocks on them! Gonna get it lowered a tad also


I'm going to Crail in a couple of weeks, but my gf is working away from home, so it will be one car or the other I'm afraid. If my Orion passes it's MOT, I'll be taking that, if not, I'll be taking the RS

agreed! Someone once said that Momo Arrows were made for escorts! Very true!

Will look better once she gets the soft spokes on and lowered though

I love momo arrows, had a set of 16" on my old fiesta Si bought for £150 used for months and sold for £300 lol
They look sweet on s2's but i have a soft spot for the 7 spokes too
